Dear MuckRock News:

On November 10, 2022 and November 23, 2022 you were provided with responses to your November 2,
2022 California Public Records Act (Government Code §§ 6250, et seq., “CPRA”) request received by the
City of Pittsburg (“City”) for records relating to automated license plate reader (“ALPR”) data.

This letter provides a further response to your CPRA request, pursuant to California Government Code
§§ 6250 et seq. The City is still in the process of identifying records and will make available those
documents which respond to your request which are not otherwise exempt or privileged by applicable
law, including the California Public Records Act (Government Code §§ 6250, et seq.).

We anticipate that the City will make available records responsive to your request within two weeks of
the date of this letter. If you have questions about this matter, please let me know. Otherwise, | or my
representative will contact you within two weeks as specified above.

Steve Albanese, in his capacity as Chief of Police, is responsible for the above determinations concerning
